About BITLAB Academy

BITLAB Academy was founded to close the gap between "learning to code" and "getting hired as a developer." We build small cohorts, real projects and direct mentorship from working engineers, so graduates leave with a portfolio and the confidence to pass technical interviews — not just a certificate.

  • Practice-based curriculum, not just theory
  • Mentors who work in the industry today
  • Flexible online and offline formats
  • Career support until you land a job

“In my first months at BITLAB it was hard. The tasks seemed impossible to solve. But thanks to my mentor, I found the strength to overcome my fear — his words motivated me to keep trying to solve every task and absorb the material. Six months later I successfully finished the course and got an offer to do an internship at ALABS TEAM!”

“For me, the BITLAB courses weren't just training — they were a path to my dream, a chance to move into IT from medicine. I tried to choose the best course out there, and I really did get into one. After getting a solid foundation at BITLAB, just 3 months after finishing the 5-month course I got my first offer, at Alfa Bank. I still use some of the course materials to this day.”

“Studying at the BITLAB coding school was an incredible experience! The instructors didn't just explain the material in depth — they inspired me to keep growing. I got a solid foundation in Java. I recommend BITLAB to anyone who wants quality, easy-to-follow programming instruction! I studied at BITLAB on the track toward becoming a programmer, and I came away really impressed! The courses are structured so that even complex concepts become clear. Thanks to the strong focus on practice, I mastered the language and gained confidence solving real tasks.”

“In the summer of 2019 I came to Almaty to find a job. I went through several internships, but without success, and realized I needed to take additional courses. Out of several programming courses, I chose the Java course at BITLAB Academy. At one of the other training centers, the mentors running the course didn't have enough experience, and at another one…”

Frequently Asked Questions

Still unsure? Here's what people usually ask before enrolling.

How many hours per week will I need to dedicate to the course?

For effective learning, we recommend setting aside at least 2 hours a day for assignments and problem-solving. Consistency and regularity are the key factors for success. Even a small amount of time each day, if it's steady, will help you move confidently toward your goal and achieve great results!

How quickly can I find a job after finishing the course?

77% of our graduates find a job within 1-2 months of finishing the course, and some receive offers right away. It all depends on you and how well you can present yourself. The course is designed so that graduates who successfully complete the final project are ready for employment without major difficulties. After finishing the course, you also get access to our Telegram channel with up-to-date job openings from our partners and companies. If you run into difficulties finding a job, we offer the option of an internship at our academy. During the internship you'll not only gain experience but also deepen your knowledge — with extra topics, self-study materials, and work under the guidance of experienced project managers and team leads.

What format is the training in?

The course runs in a hybrid format, so you can choose whichever way of learning suits you — offline or online. Every session is recorded, so you can always rewatch the lessons at any time. We also give you access to the video recordings so you can go through the material at your own comfortable pace.
